    In Somalia, the focus is on the young generation to boost economic growth. Youth Entrepreneurship in Somalia aims to develop a new generation in business leadership. In Somalia, youth make up about 60% of the workforce. 70% of whom are youth below 30 years old. With the increasing number of youths in the business sector, there has also been an increase in employment in the agriculture sector.

    Increased job creation and economic growth have significantly increased. The increasing number of youths in business sectors also increases the country’s economy and the country’s economy grows because the involvement of youth in economic development is very important. This gives rise to business systems and social practices.

    The Role of Technology in Empowering Somali Youth Entrepreneurs

    Technology plays an important role in empowering the young generation in terms of entrepreneurship. It is very beneficial in making the youth accessible and trained in the markets. In today’s modern age, technology provides the best platforms for young entrepreneurs. Through this, business can be promoted, and many problems can be tackled. Mobile phones and e-commerce have opened new avenues of success for entrepreneurs.

    Challenges Faced by Young Entrepreneurs in Somalia

    Technology has provided many opportunities for young people in Somalia. But they face many problems and challenges. Youth in Somalia are facing problems such as limited resources, political instability, and lack of investment. Due to a lack of investment, the youth are becoming very disadvantaged in terms of entrepreneurship. Due to fewer resources, educated people are deprived of many facilities.

    In addition, business development is poor due to a lack of formal financial and training institutions. Due to the lack of training of young people, they are also facing many problems in terms of business. These problems can be tackled by improving political stability, promoting trained institutions, and providing resources.

    Government and NGO Support for Youth-Led Enterprises in Somalia

    The Somali government has launched several programs to address youth issues. They have supported youth through grants, loans, and capacity-building initiatives. International organizations are also providing training and resources to promote entrepreneurship. Due to these efforts and support, the young generation gets motivated. These efforts and organizations aim to provide youth with skills development, access to finance, and networking opportunities.

    Through modern networking and technology, new avenues of success are available to the youth, which also improves economic stability. The efforts and support of international organizations and NGOs are very important avenues for the success of Somali youth.

    Despite the many challenges faced by young people in Somalia in terms of entrepreneurship, there is international support and assistance from NGOs, due to which the youth have the potential to generate economic growth and employment opportunities. Through access to technology and international aid, young people are finding new business opportunities.

    Modern technology and e-commerce are important platforms for the help of the young generation to access many business facilities from start-ups. Long-term stability and economic growth can be enhanced by empowering young people in Somalia. Despite the challenges facing business in Somalia, many resources are being focused and efforts are being made to empower the younger generation.
