Despite the political instability and lack of resources in Somalia, the Somali people are playing an important role in its economic development. Residents here work hard and are dedicated in every field. Although the literacy rate is very low compared to the rest of the world, the educated class is still contributing to the development of Somalia with their best efforts.

Somalis are skilled. They are trying to improve the country’s economy through remittances. Diaspora members prefer to invest in businesses and other sectors. If the political situation here improves and peace is established by controlling the militant groups, the people of Somalia can further increase the country’s development.

Economic Contributions through Remittances and Investments

Somalia is a backward, poor country where political instability, unemployment, and terrorism are facing challenges. But despite this, Somalis invest in many businesses for the development of this country, provide funds for people to do business, and generate resources. They also help create employment opportunities for the youth. Despite the conflicts, they are contributing to the happiness of this country. Somalis are the backbone of this country’s economic development.

    Knowledge Transfer and Skills Development

Diaspora members in Somalia go abroad to acquire knowledge and many do their own business there. These people bring the knowledge learned from other countries and the money earned back to this country and invest here. Somalis do not forget their poor country by going to other countries, they remember the poverty of their own country.

This is why they want to see Somalia succeed like other countries, and these people actively participate in every sector of development. These people invest here in the fields of technology, education, and health. They create means for people’s employment and provide them with funds. They bring the skills learned from other countries here in their own country and pass them on to other youths.

    Political Advocacy and Peacebuilding Efforts

These Somalis advocate for Somalia politically in foreign countries and take the best measures for good governance in Somalia. They make every possible effort for the development and happiness of Somalia by connecting with the global network and taking steps to deal with the challenges in Somalia. People create awareness among the people of other countries about the problems and difficulties in Somalia, which results in them providing all kinds of assistance to Somalia to improve its conditions.

Finally, it is recognized that the Somali people have an important role to play in the development and prosperity of Somalia. These people are trying to solve their problems by going abroad. These people are playing an important role in improving its infrastructure. They come here after earning money from foreign countries and employ other people by investing here, which also increases the remittances of this country.

Increase awareness of the situation in Somalia in other countries, resulting in international organizations visiting the country and taking all necessary measures to remove obstacles to its economic and social development.
