    Banadir council elections are heating up fast with more than 1600 people throwing their hats in the ring to win one of the 390 seats across Mogadishu’s 17 districts on December 25 2025. This Banadir council elections race shows how hungry folks are to have a real say in running the capital from fixing roads and schools to keeping neighborhoods safe and clean.
