The highly anticipated PUBG Mobile 3.9 update is officially launching on July 8, 2025, and it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest updates of the year.

This version introduces an epic collaboration with the legendary Transformers franchise, bringing iconic characters like Optimus Prime and Megatron into the battlegrounds for the first time ever.

PUBG Mobile 3.9 Update: Transformers Take Over PUBG Mobile

In this limited-time event, players can summon Optimus Prime and Megatron using the new Space Bridge Beacon, a feature embedded in the all-new map.

Each Transformer comes with unique combat abilities:

Optimus Prime: Transforms from a truck into a melee-focused robot wielding a thermal axe. His ultimate move, Rush Strike, allows him to close distance quickly and slow enemies.
Megatron: Transforms from a tank into a heavy artillery robot. His Triple Blast ultimate knocks back enemies and slows Optimus Prime, giving him an edge in ranged combat.

Players can collect Energon during matches to upgrade their Transformers and unlock special skills.

New Map: Neon Outpost

Inspired by cyberpunk aesthetics, the Neon Outpost map introduces futuristic environments and dynamic combat zones. Key locations include:

Boxing Arena
Black Market
Power Core Center

This map also features new mechanics and vertical gameplay elements, offering a fresh experience for all players.

New Vehicles & Gear

Mega Truck: A heavily armored vehicle that can carry up to four players.
Electromagnetic Tank: Fires powerful EM rounds for high-impact damage.
Cosmic Hoverboard: A fast-travel device (not usable during combat).
New AR Weapon – ASM Abakan: Fires 5.56mm rounds with three firing modes—full-auto, burst, and single-shot.
