Sudan has rejected a Trump’s Gaza Plan that a US proposal to evacuate Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and provide them with refuge in its country. The offer promised military aid and economic assistance, but the Sudanese government rejected it, insisting on protecting the rights of the Palestinian people. Officials made it clear that Sudan is against the forced displacement of Palestinians and will not accept any such proposal. The decision is in line with the voices raised by other countries in the Arab and African world against the transfer of Gaza’s population.

Sudan’s Firm Stance Against Trump’s Gaza Plan

Sudan has rejected a Trump’s Gaza Plan, saying the move was against Sudan’s interests. According to sources, about 90 percent of members of the Sudanese parliament opposed the idea, highlighting Sudan’s consistent support for Palestinian independence. Although the United States offered economic and military assistance, Sudan refused to participate in any way in Trump’s Gaza plan, prioritizing regional peace and stability.

    Regional Reactions to Trump’s Plan

Many Arab and African countries have rejected the idea of Palestinian resettlement, with at least 10 countries openly opposing the proposal. Key countries such as Egypt and Jordan have expressed concerns about the population impact and security concerns. A recent survey found that 85 percent of Middle Eastern citizens opposed the plan, citing concerns about forced displacement.

The Impact of Forced Resettlement on Palestinian Rights

International experts have warned that the forced displacement of more than two million people in Gaza could violate international human rights principles and be considered illegal. According to a UN report, more than 70 percent of Gaza’s population has already been displaced due to the current situation. Human rights organizations have called the plan devoid of moral and legal grounds, and have urged the international community to focus more on ceasefire and peace efforts.

Sudan’s rejection of the proposal highlights growing regional opposition to the forced settlement of Palestinians and Trump’s Gaza Plan. With strong opposition from various countries and legal concerns about displacement, the plan faces several challenges. The international community is now focused on finding solutions that promote long-term peace and stability while respecting Palestinian rights.
