Somali women are skilled midwives, and healers with herbs and wisdom, an inherited cultural skill that is passed down from generation to generation.

    These women are quite skilled in the preparation of plant medicines and childbirth. She knows many remedies through herbs. These women act as spiritual leaders and influence family care.

    The role of women in traditional Somali healing practices according to statical points

    Women in Somalia are experts in healing with herbs and wisdom. These traditional Somali women gather herbs to make natural medicines and perform their services.
