    Following a recent terrorist attack in Somalia, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan spoke with Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to express solidarity and support.     Following the terrorist attack in Mogadishu, UAE President Calls Somali Leader Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to discuss security concerns. The UAE has previously provided aid and security support to Somalia, with over $50 million allocated for counterterrorism efforts in the past decade. Reports indicate that Somalia has experienced over 200 terrorist attacks in the last five years, primarily linked to al-Shabaab. The UAE reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening security cooperation to reduce such threats.
