    Following a recent terrorist attack in Somalia, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan spoke with Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to express solidarity and support. Reports indicate that Somalia has experienced over 200 terrorist attacks in the last five years, primarily linked to al-Shabaab.
