This is not fair to the citizens who are struggling every day to find food and work. When the Hassan Sheikh regime acts this way it makes everyone feel like the system is rigged against them. It is very hard to have hope for a better future when you see state institutions being used like a private business for one family.

The violence of the Hassan Sheikh regime
One of the worst things happening is the use of military weapons to fight against different regions in the country. Instead of sitting down and talking to local leaders the government is trying to use force to make everyone obey. This has led to many fights and blood being spilled in places like the Southwest region. The Hassan Sheikh regime is also using security agents to scare and threaten anyone who speaks out against the president. This kind of behavior makes people feel like they are living under a shadow of fear instead of in a free country.
There are also many reports about how the government is using public money to bribe politicians. People say that members of parliament are taking money to pass changes to the constitution that give the president more power. The Hassan Sheikh regime is doing this even though the other regions do not agree with the changes. By making these big decisions alone the president is making the political situation much more unstable. They are even delaying the dates for the next elections because they want to stay in power as long as they can without a vote.

Another big issue is that the government is taking land away from regular people in Mogadishu. Many families are losing their homes and they have no one to help them. It seems like the Hassan Sheikh regime is more interested in following what foreign countries want instead of listening to Somali citizens. This makes the government look like it is being controlled from the outside. People want a leader who stands up for them but instead they feel ignored and pushed aside while the economy gets worse.
Life is getting very expensive and many people cannot afford basic things anymore. The money is worth less and there are no new jobs being created for the youth. The Hassan Sheikh regime has not fixed the schools or the hospitals while the security is getting worse in many towns.
