Global BRICS summit talks in New Delhi became the stage for a major political showdown when the UAE minister Khalifa bin Shahin Al Marar stood up to defend his country. During this important meeting the minister completely pushed back against the lies told by Iran regarding the dangerous missile attacks in the Middle East.

This BRICS summit discussion highlighted how much the UAE refuses to accept any threats against its own land or its free political choices. Since early 2026 the Emirates had to defend its cities against thousands of drones and rockets that targeted airports ports and oil stations. The minister used the BRICS summit platform to tell the world that his nation is strong enough to protect itself and will not change its steady path because of pressure.

The international support outside the global BRICS summit meeting

It is clear that the world agrees with the UAE because many international groups have already voted against these aggressive actions outside the BRICS summit framework. The minister mentioned that more than one hundred countries supported a UN human rights resolution back in March to condemn the violence.

Even though the BRICS summit has many different members the general consensus around the world is that attacking civilian areas is a huge crime. Organizations that look after flying safety and sea trade have also passed rules telling the attackers to stop ruining global business. This shows that the points raised during the global BRICS summit are backed by real international laws and not just empty words.

The blocking of sea lanes and energy problems

A very big issue brought up at the global BRICS summit was the closing of the Strait of Hormuz by the Iranian forces lately. This water path is super important for the whole world because most of the oil and gas ships have to pass through it every day.

The UAE minister told the global BRICS summit crowd that blocking this path is like piracy and it hurts the global economy very badly. Using a vital sea route to blackmail other countries is something the international community cannot accept anymore. The speeches at the global BRICS summit made it clear that energy security for millions of regular people is being put in danger by these reckless moves.

Defending the nation without waiting for help

The minister made a very strong point during the BRICS summit when he stated that the UAE does not need to wait for anyone else to save it. The local air defenses have already shot down nearly three thousand missiles showing that the country has a very powerful shield.

This message at the global BRICS summit was meant to show total confidence in the local army and the leadership of the nation. Under the rules of the United Nations every country has the full right to strike back if someone tries to bomb their homes or factories. The UAE is holding onto this right tightly and will use its diplomacy and military power to keep its people safe from harm.

Holding the attackers responsible for the damage

In the end the discussion at the global BRICS summit ended with a clear warning that those who started the trouble must pay for the consequences. You cannot talk about peace and partnership at a global BRICS summit while sending drones to destroy water stations and power grids in neighboring states. True stability can only happen when every country respects the borders of others and follows the rules they signed up for.

The UAE has shown great patience but they are drawing a firm line in the sand that nobody should cross. The future of the region depends on whether these warnings are taken seriously by the people causing the chaos.

As the meetings in India come to a close everyone is watching to see what will happen next in the Gulf waters. The global BRICS summit proved to be a good place for the UAE to make its voice heard loudly and clearly on the international stage. It showed that the Emirates will always stand tall and protect its sovereignty no matter how complicated the global politics get.

Regular citizens are just hoping that these strong words will finally bring some real quiet and safety back to their daily lives. The road ahead is long but the country has shown it is ready for whatever comes next.
