Ramadan food mistakes are something that almost everyone makes because when you go all day without eating even a single bite of bread you start to think about the heaviest and greasiest meals possible the moment the sun goes down. In the first part of this talk we should look at why these Ramadan food mistakes happen so often especially when we see those big tables full of fried sambusas and sweet drinks that look so good but actually make our bodies feel like they are made of lead. One of the biggest Ramadan food problems is drinking way too much juice or soda right when the adhan starts which puts a huge amount of sugar into your blood all at once and makes you feel a crash an hour later. Many people also make Ramadan food problems by eating their main meal too fast without chewing properly because their stomach is screaming for food but this just leads to bad digestion and pain in the middle of the night.

If you want to avoid the common Ramadan food problems you should start with just a few dates and some warm water or soup to wake up your system slowly before you go for the heavy stuff. It is also one of the classic Ramadan food problems to skip the suhoor meal thinking it will help you lose weight but all it does is make you incredibly thirsty and weak the next day. We see these Ramadan food mistakes in every house from mogadishu to london but with a little bit of planning and a lot of patience we can change our habits for the better this year. By staying away from the most famous Ramadan food problems you will find that you have much more energy for your prayers and you won’t feel like you need a three hour nap right after you finish your iftar.

Another big issue is the amount of salt we put in our cooking because salty food is one of those hidden Ramadan food problems that makes the next day of fasting feel like a desert marathon. You might love that extra salty meat or spicy rice but your body will pay for it when you are desperately looking for a glass of water at ten in the morning. Instead of falling into these Ramadan food problems try using fresh herbs or lemon juice to give your food flavor without making your tongue feel like it is made of dry leather. It takes some time to get used to it but your kidneys and your heart will thank you for not repeating the same Ramadan food problems that your friends are making.

How to fix the most common Ramadan food problems for a healthier body

If you are tired of feeling sick every evening then you need to realize that the Ramadan food mistakes start at the grocery store when you buy too many processed snacks and frozen fried treats. We can easily fix these Ramadan food mistakes by filling our kitchen with fruits like watermelon and oranges that keep the water inside our cells for a much longer time. This simple change is a great way to fight the Ramadan food problems that leave us feeling dehydrated and grumpy with our family members during the long day. You should also try to walk for fifteen minutes after you eat instead of just laying on the couch which is one of the most lazy Ramadan food problems that stops your metabolism from working the way it should.

Why breaking the cycle of Ramadan food mistakes helps your mental health

When we eat better we think better and that is why stopping the Ramadan food mistakes is so important for the spiritual side of this holy month. If your brain is foggy from too much oil and sugar you cannot focus on your quran or your connection with god which is the whole point of why we are doing this in the first place. These Ramadan food mistakes are not just about your belly but they are about your soul and how you feel about yourself when you go to bed at night. By choosing a balanced plate with some protein and lots of fiber you are essentially deleting the Ramadan food mistakes from your life and making room for a much more peaceful and happy experience.

Let this be the year where you actually feel light and strong throughout the thirty days and where your body feels refreshed instead of exhausted. Share these tips with your cousins and your neighbors so that everyone can avoid the Ramadan food mistakes and have a blessed and healthy holiday together. It only takes a few small changes to see a massive difference in how you wake up in the morning and how you interact with the world around you while you are fasting.
