    Somalia is a poor country, there is not a huge list of food here, but some of the dishes here reflect the best of Arab, Pakistani, and African styles. Special types of spices and flavoring ingredients are used in Somali cuisine. The women here are housewives, and they have a special interest in culinary matters. One of the most famous dishes here is Bariis Iskukaris, a fragrant rice cooked with special spices, vegetables, and additionally meat or fish.

    The delicious foods of Somalia are numerous, but some of the famous foods are as follows:

    • Canjeero

    This delicacy is made and served in many hotels in Somalia. It is a traditional Somali pancake, made with Injeer and then served with stew and honey. It is a very useful and beneficial food for health.

    • Maraq

    This dish is also a popular Somali dish made with fresh goat, lamb, or beef meat and fresh vegetables mixed with a variety of spices and then usually served with fragrant rice or bread.

    • Suqaar

    This dish is also made by adding different types of spices with goat, lamb, or beef meat and fresh vegetables and this dish is very popular in Somalia.

    Somali food is unique in terms of flavors and culture. Different types of spices, rice, and meat recipes here are famous in the world. The food here is a rich representation of the culture here. The food here is cultural as well as healthy.
