    Madinah, Saudi Arabia – May 2025 — In a moment of spiritual significance and international unity, the first group of Somali pilgrims in 2025 arrived today at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah to perform the Hajj pilgrimage for the year 1446H.

    Saudi authorities, specifically the General Directorate of Passports, ensured a smooth and seamless entry process for the pilgrims.

    Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Passports confirmed that the immigration and customs procedures were completed swiftly and efficiently, thanks to the deployment of state-of-the-art biometric and digital systems.

    The airport’s Hajj terminals have been fully equipped with the latest technologies and staffed with highly trained personnel fluent in the languages of the pilgrims, including Somali.

    The smooth reception of pilgrims is part of the Kingdom’s broader efforts to enhance the experience of Hajj 2025 (1446H) for all Muslims, reflecting its commitment to serving the Guests of Allah with excellence, hospitality, and respect.

    Saudi Authorities Fully Prepared for the Hajj Season
