    The spiritual journey of Hajj 2025 officially began on Wednesday, Dhul Hijjah 8, as pilgrims moved from their residences in Makkah to Mina to observe the Day of Tarwiyah.

    The occasion marks the beginning of the annual Islamic pilgrimage, with millions of faithful following in the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) by reciting the Talbiyah and glorifying Allah during their journey.

    Hajj 2025: Smooth Arrival of International and Domestic Pilgrims

    The arrival of international pilgrims to Makkah has been successfully completed, with smooth transportation from Madinah over the past 36 days.
    No disruptions have been reported during this critical phase.

    Domestic pilgrims began arriving in Makkah on Monday night and Tuesday, performing Tawaf Al-Qudum before proceeding to Mina for the next stage of Hajj rituals.

    While over 1.47 million international pilgrims have joined them to perform the sacred rites of Hajj, creating a diverse and vibrant global spiritual gathering.

    Movement from Mina to Arafat

    The transportation phase to Arafat began at 8:00 PM on Tuesday and will continue until 10:00 AM Wednesday.
    The movement is being carried out using three primary modes:

    • Mashair Train: Carrying 316,000 pilgrims
    • Multi-modal transport and buses: Serving approximately 720,000 pilgrims

    These transportation methods will be used for the critical movement to Arafat on Dhul Hijjah 9, the Day of Arafat, one of the most important days of Hajj.

    Al-Khayf Mosque in Mina Gets Major Upgrades for Hajj 2025 Season

    To accommodate the growing number of pilgrims, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs has upgraded Al-Khayf Mosque in Mina.

    Over 27,000 square meters of prayer rugs have been laid out, supported by a high-tech infrastructure designed for comfort and safety.
    Upgrades to the mosque include:

    • Advanced air-conditioning and smart ventilation systems
    • Carbon dioxide monitoring and automated cooling activation
    • Enhanced operational efficiency for extreme heat conditions

    Health Measures Intensified for Hajj 2025: 50,000 Workers Deployed

    As temperatures are expected to soar during the summer Hajj 2025 season, the Saudi Ministry of Health has significantly boosted medical readiness.

    Dr. Abdullah Asir, Deputy Minister of Health, announced the mobilization of 50,000 healthcare workers and administrative staff, representing a 60% increase from last year.

    Key health measures include:

    • Over 700 hospital beds equipped to treat heatstroke and exhaustion
    • Launch of three field hospitals and 71 emergency points
    • More than 98,000 health services already delivered to pilgrims

    Ministry spokesperson Eng. Khaled Al-Tala’a confirmed that the health status of all pilgrims remains stable, and the expanded infrastructure is fully operational to handle emergency cases.

    Hajj 2025: A Safe and Spiritually Uplifting Experience

    Saudi authorities have taken unprecedented steps to ensure a safe, smooth, and spiritually fulfilling Hajj for all attendees.

    From advanced transportation systems to upgraded facilities and enhanced healthcare, every element has been meticulously planned to support pilgrims throughout their journey.

    As the pilgrims prepare to ascend Mount Arafat, the center of Hajj rituals, global attention remains focused on this remarkable demonstration of faith, unity, and devotion.
