Hormuz water crisis is a very big problem that is changing from a tool of power into a heavy weight for the Iranian people. For many years the government in Tehran used this narrow path to scare the rest of the world because so much oil goes through it. But now things are turning around and the Hormuz water shortage is actually hurting the people inside Iran more than it is helping the leaders. When the government tries to block the ships it makes other countries put more sanctions on them and this makes the life of a regular person very hard. You can see that the Hormuz water shortage is not working like it used to because the world is finding new ways to get energy without going through that dangerous area.

Why the Hormuz water crisis hurts Iran

The first thing to understand is how the economy is failing because of the Hormuz water shortage every single day. Because the water is not safe the big ships do not want to come to Iranian ports to buy or sell anything. This means the shops in the city have no goods and the prices for food are going up so high that families cannot afford to eat meat anymore. The Hormuz water shortage is like a wall that Iran built around itself and now they are stuck inside with no money coming in. It is a very sad situation when a country has so much oil but the people are still poor because of the bad decisions of the leaders.

Second the military is spending all the money on fast boats and mines instead of helping the hospitals or the schools. The Hormuz water crisis requires a lot of expensive equipment and thousands of soldiers to watch the waves all day and night. While the government is busy playing games in the ocean the roads in the villages are breaking and the electricity goes out all the time. This shows that the Hormuz water crisis is taking away the future of the young people who just want a normal life with a good job. They see the money being thrown into the sea while they have nothing in their pockets.

Third there is a lot of fear among the sailors and the fishermen who live on the coast because of the Hormuz water crisis lately. They are afraid that a war will start any minute and their boats will be destroyed by a missile or a lost mine. The fishing industry is dying because nobody wants to go out into the deep water where the warships are moving around. This part of the Hormuz water crisis is destroying the traditional way of life for thousands of families who have lived by the sea for hundreds of years. They feel ignored by the big politicians in the capital who only care about winning a fight with the West.

Fourth the environment is also a big victim of the Hormuz water crisis because of all the leaked oil and chemicals. When ships are attacked or when they have to move in a hurry they often spill dirty things into the water. This kills the fish and ruins the beaches where people used to go for vacation. The Hormuz water crisis is making the ocean so dirty that it might never be clean again in our lifetime. It is a disaster for nature that nobody is talking about because they are too busy talking about politics and war.

Fifth the neighbors of Iran are also getting very tired of the Hormuz water crisis and they are moving away. Countries like Saudi Arabia and the UAE are building new pipes to send their oil through the land instead of the water. This means that in a few years the Hormuz water crisis will not be important anymore because nobody will need to use that path. Iran will lose its only way to talk to the world and they will be more alone than ever before. It is a very bad strategy to push everyone away until you have no friends left in your own neighborhood.

Sixth the internal anger is growing because people know the Hormuz water crisis is a choice made by the government. They see on the news that other countries are living in peace and making progress while they are stuck in a cycle of threats. The Hormuz water crisis is becoming a reason for people to go into the streets and ask for a change in how the country is run. They want the leaders to focus on the inside problems instead of fighting with everyone on the outside.

Seventh the final point is that the world is moving toward green energy and away from oil because of the Hormuz water shortage and other wars. Every time the price of oil goes up because of a threat in the gulf the scientists work harder to make solar and wind power.

This means the Hormuz water shortage is actually killing the oil business forever. Soon nobody will care about the strait and Iran will be left with a lot of oil that nobody wants to buy. It is time for a new plan that brings peace and trade instead of more trouble in the water.
