Israel has reportedly assassinated 11 Al Jazeera journalists through direct strikes in the Gaza Strip, as part of what media watchdogs describe as a deliberate campaign to silence coverage of the ongoing war.
The attacks come amid intensified efforts by Israeli authorities to impose a media blackout and obscure the realities of what many are calling a genocidal campaign in Gaza.
Israel Kills 1 Journalist Every 3 Days
Since the war began 22 months ago, the number of journalists killed in Gaza has reached 238, making it one of the deadliest conflicts for media professionals in modern history.
Many were killed while reporting from the field; others died in Israeli airstrikes targeting their homes.
