U.S. President Donald Trump has unveiled a new proposal aimed at securing a ceasefire in Gaza, describing it as Hamas last chance.

Speaking to reporters after returning from New York to Washington, Trump stressed that an agreement was “very close.”

    Details of Trump Final Proposal

The U.S. initiative outlines a phased plan, beginning with Hamas releasing all 48 Israeli hostages on the first day of the truce, in exchange for the release of thousands of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails.

The deal also includes negotiations to end the war during the ceasefire period, with a binding commitment from all parties not to violate the agreement.

Posting on his social media platform “Truth Social,” Trump stated that Israel had already accepted his conditions, urging Hamas to do the same: “I warned Hamas of the consequences of rejection.
This is my final warning, and there will be no other.”

    Israel’s Position

Israeli media reports confirmed that the government is seriously considering Trump final proposal.
Officials signaled preliminary approval, provided that Hamas releases all hostages immediately.

Meanwhile, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar declared: “The war could end tomorrow if Hamas frees the hostages and lays down its arms.”

He also rejected international efforts to recognize a Palestinian state outside of direct negotiations, warning that unilateral recognition would jeopardize Israel’s security.

Hamas Last Chance to Say Yes!

Hamas issued a statement on Sunday acknowledging receipt of the American “ideas” through mediators, stressing that it welcomed any initiative that would help stop the “aggression against the Palestinian people.”

The group expressed readiness to sit at the negotiating table immediately but outlined three main conditions:

    • A clear declaration ending the war.
    • Full withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza.
    • Formation of an independent Palestinian committee to govern the Strip immediately.

Hamas also insisted on Israel’s explicit and public commitment to any agreement, citing previous deals that Israel allegedly rejected or reneged on.

    What is Hidden for Gaza

Between Trump’s stern warning, Israel’s conditional approval, and Hamas’ demands, the future of this proposal remains uncertain.

With military operations escalating and the humanitarian crisis deepening in Gaza, all eyes are now on whether this initiative will mark the beginning of the end of the war—or simply another chapter in an ongoing conflict.
