The youth and sports, President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who attended the final match of the Banadir Regional Districts Cup at the Sports Village in Mogadishu Stadium, pointed out that the gathering of thousands of people watching the game shows the peace and stability of the capital.

The youth and sports, President, who congratulated the two remaining districts of Howlwadaag and War-Sheekh at the end of the Cup, said that the goal of social integration and strengthening the unity of the Somali people based on holding sports competitions has been achieved, and he presented how the gathering of thousands of people in the capital watching the game is proof that they can safely cast their votes when the elections for the local councils in the capital are held.

“Youth, as you came out to the football game, come out to the elections that will soon begin in the districts of Banadir Region, to elect people who can represent your interests and your region, you have the opportunity, the decision is in your hands, choose your leadership”.
The President of the Republic specially congratulated the players, coaches, administration and supporters of the Howlwadaag district who won the Cup, praising the good conduct and competitive spirit shown by all players, coaches and supporters of all teams.
