    Small and large-scale enterprises have an important role in building a strong Somali society. These enterprises contribute more than 30% to the country’s GPD and employ more than 60% of the people. In this way, employment problems in Somali society can be overcome, and people can get better employment opportunities.

    Financing and infrastructure are severely lacking in Somali society, which leads to many conflicts. Despite this, all efforts are being made to access these resources. These institutions can lead to creation and poverty reduction, which in turn strengthens them and makes Somali society sustainable.

    The Economic Impact of SMEs on Somalia’s GDP and Employment

    Somalia’s SMEs contribute more than 30% to sectors such as agriculture and trade, making up 60% of the country’s labor market. They provide job opportunities to people and provide employment. Due to the unemployment in the country can be controlled and the youth can be provided with employment problems.

    For this reason, the Somali economy and economic development can be increased. Somali society can develop by overcoming employment problems. These institutions have a very important role in providing employment opportunities in Somali society.

    Challenges Facing SMEs in Somalia: Financing and Infrastructure Barriers

    Somali SMEs are struggling with very few resources. One of the biggest problems they face is weak infrastructure. Many challenges are faced due to the lack of a banking system and lack of financial resources. Due to limited digital connectivity, many problems are faced in business and education issues.

    In addition, its reliable electricity and poor transportation are also obstacles to economic development. All these obstacles make Somali society less able to cope. By overcoming these limited resources and challenges and strengthening infrastructure, Somali society can be developed.

    Strategies for Strengthening SMEs and Promoting Sustainable Growth

    Different strategies can be adopted to make SMEs strong and sustainable in Somalia. In which access to affordable financing can be facilitated. Apart from this, public and private partnerships can also be promoted. By promoting capacity building in Somali society, entrepreneurs can be taught different techniques, and employment opportunities can be increased.

    Due to this employment will increase and the economy will grow. In addition, the strategy can be adopted by strengthening the Somali law and making some terms in it. These are very important measures for the economic and social development of the Somali society. By adopting these different strategies, SMEs can be made strong and sustainable.

    Small- and large-scale enterprises are very important for the economic development of Somalia. Because they provide employment opportunities to the people in the country, through which unemployment can be controlled. These contribute significantly to GDP and employment. Despite the efforts of these institutions, they are facing many problems including a lack of resources, limited access to finance, and lack of business support system.

    But despite these problems, these institutions are performing many services to reduce poverty and increase economic growth. With government support and infrastructure strengthening, these challenges can be managed and economic growth in Somalia can be sustained, thereby promoting long-term prosperity.
