During the launch event, President Mohamud emphasized the urgent need for direct presidential elections in Somalia, marking a significant shift toward inclusive and accountable governance.
He called on Somali citizens—both within the country and across the diaspora—to rally around a shared agenda of peace, unity, and sustainable development.
“The time has come for us to move beyond despair and embrace innovation and collective action,” said the President.
“This vision is the bridge between today and tomorrow—the legacy we leave behind and the promise we pass on to future generations.”
