    The Federal Republic of Somalia strongly condemned Iran missile attack on Al Udeid Air Base, describing it as a flagrant breach of international law and a serious threat to regional peace.

    Somalia expressed full solidarity with the Qatari government and people, reaffirming its commitment to sovereignty, territorial integrity, and peaceful conflict resolution through dialogue and mutual respect.

    Arab States Condemn Iran Missile Attack on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar

    A wave of strong condemnation swept across the Arab world following Iran’s missile strike on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar on Monday.

    The attack, which targeted the U.S. military facility, was intercepted by Qatari air defenses, according to a statement by the Qatari Ministry of Defense, as reported by the Qatar News Agency.

    Broad Arab Rejection of the Iranian Strike

    United Arab Emirates

    The UAE condemned Iran missile attack on Al Udeid Base in the strongest terms, calling it a flagrant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and a breach of international law and the UN Charter.

    Abu Dhabi affirmed its full solidarity with Qatar and called for immediate de-escalation and a return to diplomacy.

    Saudi Arabia

    Saudi Arabia denounced the attack as an unjustifiable act of aggression, asserting that it violated principles of good neighborliness and posed a direct threat to regional stability.

    Jordan

    Jordan’s Foreign Ministry condemned the strike as a “dangerous escalation” and a violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and international law, pledging full support for Qatar in safeguarding its security and citizens.

    Egypt

    Egypt expressed “strong condemnation” of the Iranian attack, labeling it a serious threat to Qatar’s territorial integrity and a breach of international norms.

    The Egyptian Foreign Ministry called for an end to all forms of military escalation.

    Bahrain

    Bahrain voiced complete solidarity with Qatar, calling the attack a threat to the Gulf region’s security.
    The government urged restraint and a commitment to peaceful resolution through dialogue.

    Calls to Avoid Escalation

    Oman

    Oman’s Foreign Ministry condemned Iran missile attack on Al Udeid Base, linking it to ongoing regional tension triggered by Israel’s June 13 missile strike on Iran.

    It described the Iranian action as unacceptable, warning it could expand the scope of conflict and undermine regional stability.

    Iraq

    Iraq’s Foreign Ministry expressed deep concern over the escalating violence and warned that the attack on Qatar marks a dangerous turning point, potentially drawing more countries into conflict and destabilizing the entire region.

    Morocco

    Morocco strongly condemned the missile strike, reaffirming its solidarity with Qatar and rejecting any actions that threaten its sovereignty or the safety of its people.

    Regional and International Responses on Iran missile attack on Al Udeid Base

    Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)

    GCC Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi issued a strong condemnation, calling the Iranian strike a direct threat to the sovereignty of a GCC member state.

    He emphasized that GCC security is indivisible, reaffirming full support for Qatar.

    Arab Parliament

    The Arab Parliament denounced the Iranian aggression, describing it as a blatant violation of Qatari sovereignty and a serious breach of international law. It warned against further regional escalation.

    Kuwait

    Kuwait condemned Iran missile attack on Al Udeid as a serious violation of Qatari airspace and international law, stressing the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the Gulf.

    Lebanon

    Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned the Iranian action, warning that it would increase regional tensions and hinder diplomatic efforts to resolve ongoing conflicts.

    Palestine

    The State of Palestine also condemned the missile strike, calling it a clear violation of Qatari sovereignty, and expressed solidarity with the Qatari government and people.
