Somalia UAE Deals are currently the biggest topic of fight in the Horn of Africa after the federal government in Mogadishu decided to cancel every single agreement made with the United Arab Emirates in the past few years.

This move has created a lot of noise because many regional states like Puntland and Jubaland are saying that this decision is a huge mistake that will hurt the local people who depend on these projects for their daily bread.

The Somalia UAE Deals involve many things like the building of big sea ports and the training of security forces who keep the peace in the cities and the rural areas.

When the central government acts alone without talking to the leaders of the different regions it creates a feeling of distrust and makes people wonder if the country is headed for more internal conflict.

For the ordinary person in the street these Somalia UAE Deals represent hope for jobs and better trade with the outside world and seeing them thrown away for political reasons is very frustrating.

Why regional leaders want to keep the Somalia UAE Deals alive

The leaders in the regional states argue that the Somalia and UAE Deals are the only thing keeping their local economies moving while the central government is busy with its own problems.

They see the investment in the ports of Berbera and Bosaso as a way to connect their farmers and traders to the markets in the Middle East and beyond.

Without the Somalia and UAE Deals these states fear they will lose millions of dollars in investment and that the construction of new roads and hospitals will stop immediately.

This is not just about money but it is about the survival of the local communities who have been waiting for decades to see some real progress in their lands. By trying to stop the Somalia UAE Deals the federal government is seen as someone who is putting their own power above the needs of the hungry people who just want to work and live in peace.

The security risks of breaking Somalia and UAE Deals now

Another big worry for the groups who oppose this decision is the impact it will have on the fight against terrorist groups that are still hiding in the bushes.

The Somalia UAE Deals included the training of thousands of elite soldiers who have been doing a great job in pushing back the enemies of the state in many regions. If the money and the training from the UAE disappear because of the cancellation of the Somalia UAE Deals there will be a big hole in the security wall that protects the villages.

The local leaders say that the federal government does not have enough money to pay these soldiers on its own and this could lead to a situation where the fighters just walk away from their posts. Losing the Somalia UAE Deals at this sensitive time is like opening the door for the terrorists to come back and cause more chaos and blood in our streets.

Diplomatic tension following the Somalia and UAE Deals cancelation

The relationship between Mogadishu and Abu Dhabi has been very cold for a long time but this latest move to kill the Somalia UAE Deals has made things much worse than ever before.

Many people in the business community are worried that this will lead to a total stop of trade between the two nations which would be a disaster for the small shops that sell electronics and clothes.

The Somalia and UAE Deals were a bridge that allowed our people to do business in a rich part of the world and now that bridge is being burned by the politicians in the capital.

Even the international community is looking at this situation with worry because they want to see a united Somalia that works with all its partners to bring stability to the region.

The Somalia UAE Deals are not just papers they are the foundation of a relationship that took many years to build and it is a shame to see it falling apart so quickly.

The path forward for the Somalia UAE Deals dispute

There is a loud call from the traditional elders and the local politicians for the federal government to sit down and talk with the regional states about the Somalia UAE Deals before it is too late. They believe that a compromise can be found where the national interests are protected while the local investments are allowed to continue for the sake of the poor.

If the government continues to ignore the anger of the people over the Somali UAE Deals it might lead to a situation where the states start to act like independent countries which would be the end of the dream of a united Somalia.

Only hope that the voices of reason will win over the voices of anger and that our country can find a way to work with all its friends without creating more enemies inside its own house. The Somalia UAE Deals are a very important part of our history and our future and we should not let them become a reason for us to fight each other again. Let us work together to build a nation where everyone has a chance to succeed and where our deals are respected by everyone.
