E-Visa data hacked, the Somali Immigration and Citizenship Agency has officially confirmed that the data of some passengers using the E-TAS program, which was recently launched by the Somali Immigration and Citizenship Agency, has been hacked.

E-Visa data hacked , a press release issued by the Somali Immigration and Citizenship Agency stated that an illegal breach was targeted at the E-TAS system, and the agency immediately suspended the program and launched an urgent investigation into the matter, to minimize its potential impact.

“The Somali government has given this matter special importance, appointing a national investigation committee consisting of security agencies, international forensic experts, and government agencies concerned with data protection,” the press release from the Somali Immigration and Citizenship Agency said.
EXPOSURE OF INVESTIGATION’S RESULTS

E-Visa data hacked , the statement from the Agency also stated that once the official investigation is concluded, a full report will be issued detailing the findings, verified data and corrective actions to be taken.
“HSJ regrets this incident and reaffirms that protecting the privacy of our citizens and our national services is our top priority,” the Somali Immigration and Citizenship Agency said in a statement.
E-Visa data hacked , the US government recently announced that the personal information of thousands of passengers, including Somalis and foreigners, had been hacked, which has been widely discussed on social media over the past two days.
