    Saudi Yemen Intervention started in 2015 when Saudi Arabia led a coalition to support the Yemeni government against Houthi rebels who took control of the capital. This Saudi Yemen Intervention aimed to restore the internationally recognized government and stop what Saudi saw as Iranian influence in its backyard.
